May grace and peace be with you all! After literally years of wondering if I should try something like this, it has finally come to pass. My first blog.
What can you expect when you check it out? My primary goal is to offer reflections on the Sunday readings every week, and on some weekday readings. You may also find comments based on books I have read and reflections on some current events. Since this is brand new, and still a work in progress, it may include other musings as well.
You can read a bit about me in “The Man Behind The Curtain”. In the Contact Me page, you’ll find a form you can use to send me comments.
Feel free to check in from time to time. I welcome questions and comments, and will do my best to respond to them.
In case you’re wondering, the image over the title is from an icon of Abba Poemen. He was one of the Desert Fathers and Mothers who were very influential in the formation of both the hermit and the monastic ways of life in the Church. Abba Poemen is one of my personal favorites, as he seemed to know how to blend justice and mercy every time.
Thank you for checking out my blog. Let us pray for one another.
